HumaniTV Set for LIVE Broadcast of April 2013 Rama Indian Outreach with Science Classroom Innovator Exploration Nation

AUSTIN, TEXAS – December 4, 2012 : HumaniTV, an Internet media and services firm promoting sustainability through the eyes of humanitarians and those they serve, today announced they are set for live broadcast of April 2013 Rama Indian outreach with science classroom innovator Exploration Nation.

Following through on the September announcement to partner with Georgetown, Texas based Enzoology Education (branded Exploration Nation), HumaniTV will deliver live broadcasts to schools and viewers globally in conjunction with delivering medical aid and supplies to the Rama Indians of Nicaragua; this following the December 3, 2012 Enzoology Education announcement that they have launched a major crowd-funding initiative to fund the project at http://www.ExplorationNation.com/Contribute

The Rama Indians are a small tribe of indigenous people who live along the Mosquito Coast of Central America. In recent years, the tribe has dwindled to less than 800 people who live on less than twenty-five cents a day.  During the 14 day mission, the young hosts of Exploration Nation will work with EARTH University, various sponsors and the HumaniTV team to assist in a variety of scientific expeditions leading up to delivering supplies and medical support to the Rama people.

Slated for April 2-April 16th, the program will broadcast live each day from the jungles of Central America. This broadcast will be made available on the HumaniTV Medical (medical.humani.tv) & Kids (kids.humani.tv) channels, and to classrooms across the U.S. at www.ExplorationNation.com.

“Our Expedition Central America project pairs three middle school students with Special Forces veterans and a team of surgeons to deliver medical supplies and aid to the Rama Indians of Nicaragua, ” says Enzoology Education CEO, Pete Monfre.  “Beyond producing a series of lesson programs on the expedition, Enzoology Education hopes to connect tens of thousands of kids directly to their Rama counterparts.  This live broadcast is a great way to share the adventure with kids while putting the science in context with the realities of disparate culture and quality of life issues.”

“The Special Forces and surgical staffers at HumaniTV are the best in the business at delivering austere medical support globally,” stated HumaniTV Co-Founder, Jay Stanka.  “We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Exploration Nation to deliver supplies and service to the indigenous tribes on the Mosquito Coast.  Combining our mission to connect, train, equip and deploy individuals and institutions to save lives and impact communities with Exploration Nation’s exciting and unique approach to educating the youth of today with the science of tomorrow is just plain awesome!”
